Cupcake Couture

For
Challenge was to select 3 cupcakes from a list to serve as inspiration (plus one additional one of our own selection) for a 4-piece mini collection.

Each look features large ruffle details which are inspired by the ruffles of cupcake wrappers, beads which are inspired by sprinkles, and overlapping tulle ruffles that mimic the intricate swirls of cupcake frosting; each look features lime cupcake heels, because I heavily believe in combining red/pink with green

Details (inspiration marked by above numbers)

First look:
Top/Skirt combo; top is inspired by the 4raspberry cupcake, in a deep raspberry color with some "powdered sugar" ombre effect; bottom is inspired by the 1cream cheese frosting, with 2champagne pearl beads on the bottom 

Second:
Jacket/Top-Dress/Pants combo; jacket is 3meringue color with 1red velvet beading, top-dress is in a 2strawberry color, 4raspberry colored pants with 2strawberry-champagne sequin on the sides

Third:
Crop top/Skirt combo; crop top is a 2champagne color with 2strawberry color beading, plus a skirt in a deep 1red velvet color

Fourth:
Evening gown: ombre is inspired by the 2champagne frosting, done with a pink gradient; beading is 4raspberry
